Nearly Live from iGEM with the Synthetic Biology Project
WASHINGTON—This year’s International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition will take place Friday October 30 through Monday November 2 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. iGEM is the premiere undergraduate synthetic biology competition featuring more than 110 teams with over 1,200 participants. Teams are provided a kit of biological parts from the Registry of Standard Biological Parts which they use to build novel biological systems operating in living cells. For more information see www.igem.org
The Synthetic Biology Project will be reporting “nearly” live from the iGEM Jamboree with video interviews of participants. Videos will be posted to YouTube just a few minutes after completion.
